Vision Statement
By 2025 the Baltimore County African American Cultural Festival, Inc. will be recognized globally for its diverse reflections of historical, cultural, and educational highlights as experienced through the lens of Baltimore County Americans of African descent and our allies. Mission Statement Baltimore County African American Cultural Festival, Inc., is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization which collaborates with community stakeholders in order to provide scholarships which empower Baltimore County students graduating from high school. In honoring our predecessors' diverse traditions, we assist in the preservation of African American historical projects, and financially support many other charitable organizations throughout Baltimore County, Maryland. Value Statements TRADITION - We acknowledge the sacrifices and accomplishments of our ancestors who forged new paths for us to continuously achieve and set new goals. COLLABORATION - We honor our family and community for providing numerous opportunities to enhance our educational, recreational, cultural, and health resources in Baltimore County, Maryland. EMPOWERMENT - We empower our youth with access to informational and financial resources to become future leaders and the torchbearers of our remarkable history.
